When we spend our lives waiting until we're perfect or bulletproof before we walk into the arena, we ultimately sacrifice relationships and opportunities that may not be recoverable, we squander our precious time, and we turn our backs on our gifts, those unique contributions that only we can make.

Research

Ok so for the whole semester I have been working on coming up with a research idea and I almost have it consolidated. I have my literature review done and my IRB proposal almost finished. For my research I want to look into the role that critical comments play along with coping mechanisms of shame in eating disorders. It should be really interesting and I am looking forward with working with my advisor. He is really supportive of what I am doing and I am excited.
